Why MAYAK?
Mayak means lighthouse in Russian and several other Slavic languages. It’s a word for something that stands still while everything around it moves — something that exists purely to guide.
That’s what we’re trying to build. Not the loudest studio. Not the most famous. The most useful. The most dependable. The one that helps people find what they’re looking for.

Design studio
We help businesses scale through design.
On the service side, MAYAK is a revenue design studio. We partner with established businesses and redesign the entire visual system — ads, funnel, website — that drives their growth. We’ve spent 8 years learning what works at scale, and we bring that to every client we take on.
Brand house
We build brands that help people.
On the product side, MAYAK is a brand house. We build and launch brands under our roof — each one designed around a genuine human need. Velora Healing is the first. More are coming. Every brand we build is a new way of bringing light to the world.
The founder
Elya
Ilyass Lahlou — known to most as Elya — has spent the past 8 years designing for ecommerce and digital product businesses. He built a freelance practice that grew into something bigger than a practice: a point of view, a set of principles, and eventually, MAYAK.
MAYAK is his attempt to do the work properly — with a small team, a clear philosophy, and no interest in being everything to everyone.
